Since last Thursday (09/04), the "Jornal da Cultura", from TV CultureThe program "A Programa de Programa de São Paulo" (The Program from São Paulo) has stopped being broadcast in municipalities in Minas Gerais. Rede Minas, which had been rebroadcasting the program since February of last year, changed its strategy, generating controversy with the decision.

According to UOL Política, "Repórter Brasil," a news program produced by the state-owned EBC (Empresa Brasil de Comunicação), controlled by the federal government, will be broadcast in place of "Jornal da Cultura."

The president of Rede Minas, Israel do Vale, states that the decision was technical and related to the lack of content exchange between the stations. However, the change was criticized by members of "Jornal da Cultura," who attribute it to the political dispute between PSDB and PT.

"Could it be because the government of Minas Gerais is legitimately governed by a politician from the PT?", said Sérgio Fausto, a commentator on the news program, referring to TV Cultura being located in São Paulo, a state governed by the PSDB.

Vale countered the criticism, saying the change occurred due to technical reasons. "TV Brasil has always been more receptive to content from other states. There are few days when it doesn't broadcast nationally one or more reports produced by Rede Minas. Jornal da Cultura, on the other hand, is essentially from São Paulo."
