A native of Piauí takes over as director at Codevasf, in Brasília.

From Piauí Hoje.com - The new director of the River Basin Revitalization Area of Codevasf, Inaldo Guerra, took office this Monday (08), in Brasília (DF). The ceremony took place in the office of the Minister of National Integration, Hélder Barbalho, with the presence of the Company's president, Kênia Marcelino, the director of the Irrigation Projects Management Area, Napoleão Casado, and the Production Support Manager, Andréa Sousa.

President Kênia Marcelino reinforced her confidence in this new phase. "Our expectations are the best possible. The new director already knows Codevasf, as he served for two years as the Company's superintendent in Piauí. He takes over the Revitalization Area at an excellent time, because the opportunities are great in terms of recovering river basins, with new actions and also continuing others that are already underway," she stated.

Director Inaldo Guerra highlighted the responsibility he feels in facing the challenges of the Revitalization Area. "It's a strategic directorate and also a great showcase for Codevasf, where perhaps the greatest challenges lie. But along with that comes confidence, precisely because I already know the company. These two years working at the Regional Superintendency in Piauí have given me a certain amount of experience to come with full commitment, also counting on the support of the employees. Profile - Originally from Teresina (PI), Inaldo Guerra holds a degree in Law from the Federal University of Piauí, with a specialization in Procedural Law from the same institution and a master's degree in Procedural Law from the Catholic University of Pernambuco. He also served as regional superintendent of Codevasf in Piauí, a position he held for the last two years. He also worked in the state as a parliamentary advisor and at the Water and Sewage Agency of Piauí SA (Agespisa).
