247 - The Federal Police already have proof that the late former national president of the PSDB party, Sérgio Guerra, did in fact act to kill a Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry (CPI) that was investigating corruption cases at Petrobras.

This is a video of a A meeting between Guerra, then-director of Petrobras Paulo Roberto Costa, and contractors to bury the Petrobras CPI (Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry) in 2009, according to journalists. Marcio Falcão and Aguirre Talento.

"In the recording, which also includes audio, Guerra states that 'we are not going to engage in polemics,' says he has 'horror of CPIs' and that he considers it 'deplorable' for a congressman 'to act as a policeman.' The politician, who died in 2014, was one of the members of the commission," the report says.

"In his plea bargain testimony, Costa said that Guerra asked for R$ 10 million to bury the CPI (Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry) and that the payment was made by the construction company Queiroz Galvão."

In a statement, the PSDB (Brazilian Social Democracy Party) said that "it is not familiar with the recording and therefore will not comment, but reiterates its support for the Lava Jato investigations."
