Federal Police bring Geddel closer to plea bargaining and Temer closer to downfall.

The raid carried out this morning in the office of Congressman Lúcio Vieira Lima (PMDB-BA) makes the plea bargain of Geddel Vieira Lima, Michel Temer's operator and confidant for over two decades, practically inevitable; with no prospect of leaving Papuda prison, Geddel was the key figure in the largest seizure of dirty money in Brazilian history, when R$ 51 million were found in his bunker; now, with his brother also in trouble, the only way to reduce his sentence is to reveal the origin of the money and its recipients on the eve of the consideration of the indictment in which Temer is accused of corruption, obstruction of justice and criminal organization.
