Petrobras gives pay raise to directors.

247 - Petrobras' Board of Directors approved on Thursday (22) a 43,88% increase in the remuneration of the state-owned company's president, directors and board members. The proposal will be submitted to the General Shareholders' Meeting, which is scheduled for April 27. The information was published by newspaper The State of S.Paulo

According to the 2022 Aggregate Report of Federal State-Owned Enterprises (RAEEF), which provides information on the 2021 fiscal year, the annual remuneration of the company's directors and president was just over R$ 3 million per year. This amount represented almost R$ 250 per month, considering the fixed salary, bonuses, profit sharing, and results-based compensation.

If approved, the increase will be applied to the fixed remuneration. The salary of the president of Petrobras is currently around R$ 116 and, with the adjustment, it will rise to almost R$ 167 per month.
