A member of the Workers' Party from Goiás who holds a federal position praises Marconi.
The republican relationship between Governor Marconi Perillo (PSDB) and President Dilma Rousseff (PT) has now been praised by Olavo Noleto, a native of Goiás and Deputy Chief of Federal Affairs at the Presidency of the Republic. In his column "Giro" in the newspaper O Popular, Noleto was questioned about the reaction in Brasília to Marconi's opposition to Dilma's impeachment. "The people of Goiás elected deputies, senators, a governor, and the President of the Republic. The vote that counts for one counts for another. That's how democracy works. The governor had a correct, republican, and elegant stance," he said.
Goiás 247 - The republican relationship between Governor Marconi Perillo (PSDB) and President Dilma Rousseff (PT) has now been praised by Olavo Noleto, from Goiás, who is the Deputy Chief of Federal Affairs at the Presidency of the Republic.
In his column "Giro" in O Popular newspaper, Noleto was asked about the reaction in Brasília to Marconi's opposition to Dilma's impeachment.
"The people of Goiás elected representatives, senators, a governor, and the President of the Republic. The vote that counts for one counts for another. That's how democracy works. The governor had a correct, republican, and elegant stance," he said.
At the end of July, Olavo Noleto participated in the celebrations for the anniversary of the City of Goiás and praised the republican government of Marconi Perillo.
"Political differences have always remained within the elections. Just like the federal government, the state government doesn't consider partisan issues when helping the municipalities of Goiás," stated the Workers' Party member.
On that occasion, the governor reciprocated the compliments from President Dilma Rousseff's aide and said Olavo has been strategic for the administrative partnership between the State and the Union. "Olavo is very mature, a respectful person, who is helping us. I can only thank him for what he has done for our State."
