Pestana suggests that PSB leave Dilma's government.
Aécio Neves' right-hand man, Congressman Marcus Pestana (PSDB-MG), condemns the "opportunism" of the party that holds positions in the federal administration, but still makes opposition speeches.
247 - The increasingly clear presidential candidacy of Eduardo Campos, governor of Pernambuco and national president of the PSB, is already provoking reactions from the opposition. According to Congressman Marcus Pestana (PSDB-MG), right-hand man of Senator Aécio Neves (PSDB-MG) and likely candidate for the Palácio da Liberdade in 2014, the PSB should relinquish all its positions in the Dilma government. "It's opportunistic to make opposition speeches to the public while holding positions and occupying a ministry in Dilma's government," he says.
Pestana's statement follows another message from the PSDB to the PSB, sent by Aécio Neves himself. "Unlike other parties, we're not on the couch to decide whether we're in government or opposition. We are opposition and we will contest the government in 2014. We know our path and we are an alternative to what is currently in place," said the PSDB member.
