Goiás247 - Governor Marconi Perillo fulfilled an extensive agenda today, inaugurating public works and delivering benefits in the São Patrício Valley region, accompanied by state secretaries, deputies, and mayors from the region. In São Patrício and Morro Agudo de Goiás, Marconi inaugurated works built in partnership with the municipalities and the federal government, and signed service orders for the resurfacing of urban roads and the construction of highway sections.
In São Patrício, he signed an agreement with the city hall allocating R$ 500 for the resurfacing of several roads in the municipality, delivered a school bus, a van, and an ambulance, accompanied by ten mayors from neighboring cities. The governor delivered 30 houses in the Genino Mendes da Silva Residential Complex, which were built in partnership with the municipality of Morro Agudo and the federal government. The state government's investment was R$ 150. He also delivered 100 Housing Vouchers, worth R$ 20 each, totaling R$ 2 million, for the construction of 100 houses. Addressing the population gathered in the Praça da Matriz (Main Square), the governor reminded them that he has been able to fulfill the commitments made to the municipalities, according to the specific needs of each one. Mayor Denny Leles thanked Marconi for intensifying the partnerships. The governor stated that it is the state government's responsibility to assist the municipalities, which receive the smallest share of the resource distribution. "Some projects are not even the government's responsibility, but we are aware that the municipalities cannot carry them out alone," he emphasized.
Those participating in the events in São Patrício included federal deputies Vilmar Rocha, Thiago Peixoto, and Magda Mofatto; the Secretary of the Surrounding Area, Gilvan Máximo; the president of Agehab, Luiz Stival; the Goiânia city councilor Virmondes Cruvinel; mayors; and leaders from the region.
