PE increases job creation in November

In relation to the month of October, 5.317 jobs were created, a 0,40% increase; in the accumulated period from January to November 2013, the state generated 32.810 jobs, a 2,46% increase compared to the same period last year; the data is from Caged, released by the Ministry of Labor and Employment.

Pernambuco 247 – Pernambuco generated 32.810 jobs in the period from January to November 2013, which represented an increase of 2,46% compared to the same period last year. In relation to the month of October, the generation of 5.317 jobs was recorded, an increase of 0,40%. The data are from the General Register of Employed and Unemployed (Caged) released, this Friday (20), by the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE).

According to the research, in November, the Commerce sector showed a positive balance in job creation, with 4.549 new positions, after accounting for layoffs. The Services sector generated 3.371 new jobs, Construction 580, and Manufacturing 286. The Agriculture sector showed a negative result, with the loss of 3.395 jobs last month due to the drought.

The state was the third federative unit that generated the most jobs in the Northeast Region. In first place was Bahia, with 59.624 jobs generated, and in second place, Ceará (51.179).

Still considering only last month, the Northeast was the region that generated the most jobs (32.454), followed by the South (25.090). In third place is the Southeast (3.008) and in fourth the North (75). The Central-West, however, showed a negative result (-13.141).
