Bahia 247 - In an official statement released on Monday morning (July 11th), the municipal leadership of the PSB (Brazilian Socialist Party) announced that Senator Lídice da Mata has withdrawn from the race for mayor of Salvador. In the document, the municipal president, Waldemar Oliveira, states that the party is not in favor of fragmentation and that the potential candidacy was proposed by other parties to strengthen the center-left field.
