Goiás247_ The names of the 18 deputies, including both full and alternate members, who will compose the Parliamentary Commissions of Inquiry (CPIs) on Wiretapping and Public Security have already been defined. The Government Leader in the Legislative Assembly, Deputy Fábio Sousa (PSDB), presented, during the plenary session this Wednesday, the 22nd, the parliamentarians indicated by the government's support base for the two commissions, which will be installed by the House in the coming days. The opposition representatives had already been indicated in the plenary session this Tuesday, the 21st.
The Speaker of the House, Representative Helder Valin (PSDB), stated that, with the names nominated by the ruling party and the opposition now defined, a meeting will be held to determine who will occupy the positions of president, vice-president, and rapporteur of the two committees. At this meeting, the members of the two CPIs (Parliamentary Commissions of Inquiry) will also discuss defining a work schedule and the start of activities.
In the Wiretapping CPI, the leading members of the government bloc are Talles Barreto (PTB), Marcos Martins (PSDB), and Túlio Isac (PSDB). Carlos Antonio (PSC), Francisco Júnior (PSD), and Daniel Messac (PSDB) were appointed as alternates.
For the Public Security CPI, Helio de Sousa (DEM), Marcos Martins (PSDB), and Wellington Valim (PT do B) were appointed as full members. Júlio da Retífica (PSDB), Túlio Isac (PSDB), and Frederico Nascimento (PSD) were appointed as alternate members.
During Tuesday's ordinary session, the PT leader, Deputy Karlos Cabral, announced that PT deputies Mauro Rubem and Luis Cesar Bueno will be the principal and alternate members, respectively, of the Public Security CPI, while their party colleagues Humberto Aidar and Karlos Cabral will be the principal and alternate members, respectively, of the Wiretapping CPI.
The leader of the PMDB caucus, Deputy Bruno Peixoto, also nominated members to participate in the committees. Deputies Ney Nogueira (PP) and José Essado (PMDB) will serve on the Wiretapping CPI as full and alternate members, respectively. The Public Security CPI, in turn, will be composed of Luiz Carlos do Carmo (PMDB) as the full member and Major Araújo (PRB) as the alternate.
