The Federal Police (PF) in Pernambuco has approximately 500 officers. Last week, about 40 agents from Pernambuco held a protest at the Gilberto Freire/Guararapes International Airport in Recife, demanding recognition for their category and salary adjustments, which have not been updated for five years. In addition to the capital, PF units located in Salgueiro and Caruaru, in the interior of the state, are also participating in the protest. The category's calendar also includes further work stoppages on the 25th and 26th of this month, and on March 11th and 13th.
