Operation Holy Week begins today with 3.747 security professionals.

Ceará 247 - 3.747 security professionals will be working on Operation Holy Week, which begins this Thursday (2), throughout the State. During the holiday, the agencies linked to the Secretariat of Public Security and Social Defense (SSPDS) will have 319 men from the Fire Department, 204 civil police officers in the duty stations of the municipalities, 53 men from the Forensic Expertise of Ceará, 2.883 military police officers, 40 men and three aircraft from the Air Operations Coordination (Ciopaer), and four men from the Integrated Operational Planning Coordination.

On state highways, operations by the State Highway Patrol Battalion (BPRE) of the Military Police will be carried out in conjunction with the State Traffic Department of Ceará (Detran-CE). In total, 406 officers will be deployed in 56 patrol cars, 49 motorcycles, and 17 tow trucks, divided among 23 fixed posts, in addition to 18 advanced posts. The operations will also utilize 88 breathalyzers in various checkpoints conducted along state highways with high traffic volume.
