Olyntho and Dorinha claim to be coordinating Aécio's campaign.

Tocantins 247 - The advancement of PSDB presidential candidate Aécio Neves to the second round is generating movement among his allies in Tocantins to see who will coordinate the campaign in the state. The elected state deputy and national president of the PSDB youth wing, Olyntho Neto, and the re-elected federal deputy from DEM, Professora Dorinha, announced to the press that they will be the coordinators of Aécio's campaign in Tocantins. Neither mentioned the other in the released material. 

In addition to Olyntho and Dorinha, the newly elected federal deputy Vicentinho Júnior (PSB), his father, Senator Vicentinho Alves (SD), federal deputy Eduardo Gomes (SD), and other allies will meet with Aécio Neves this Wednesday afternoon, the 8th, in Brasília. They will discuss how the candidate's campaign will proceed and the preparations for a pro-Aécio event in the state, with the presence of the candidate's running mate.

According to Olyntho Neto, the announcement that he would be responsible for the PSDB campaign in the second round in Tocantins came after confirmation that he was the party's only representative in the Legislative Assembly. “I was very honored and enthusiastic about this new mission. Now we will focus exclusively on Aécio's presidential campaign, and I am sure that the youth of Brazil and the citizens of Tocantins have already understood that the best thing for all of us is a serious and capable administration that can put the country back on the path to development,” said the politician, as reported by his press office.

Congresswoman Professora Dorinha, in turn, claimed a leading role in the campaign of presidential candidate Aécio Neves, according to material released by her press office. "Our committee has been coordinating Aécio's campaign in Tocantins since the first round. Now that we have been re-elected, we can concentrate our work on electing him president," said Dorinha. 

On October 26th, the second round of the presidential elections will take place between candidates Aécio Neves and Dilma Rousseff (PT). In the first round, Aécio Neves received 34.897.211 votes, representing 33,55%, while the PT candidate reached 43.267.668 votes (41,59%). In Tocantins, Dilma performed better, receiving 50,23% of the state's votes. Aécio Neves received 27,67%.
