Job openings increase by 35% in August.

Ceará247 - This week, the Secretariat of Labor and Social Development (STDS), through SINE/IDT, announces the availability of 1027 job openings throughout Ceará, 35% more than the 762 offered by Ceará companies at the beginning of August. "This is the trend, the natural warming of the economy, whose growth will be all the greater the greater the feeling of job stability among workers," emphasizes the head of STDS, Josbertini Clementino.
He points out that in the first week of August, 762 formal job openings were offered in the state, in the second week, 882, and now, 1.027. Of this total, 538 jobs are in Fortaleza and 489 are distributed across 32 municipalities, which also shows that more opportunities are emerging in the interior of the state.
Job opportunities cover diverse areas, with a focus on the service and manufacturing sectors, which are also showing signs of recovery, including the offer of more than 300 vacancies in the sector in the state. There are 420 vacancies for people with disabilities. Despite the economic and political crisis, the secretary emphasizes that the Northeast region, and Ceará in particular, remains an attractive hub for large investments in the economic sector. For this second semester, research conducted by STDS, through Sine/IDT, projects the creation of more than 46 jobs.
