The year in which Eduardo Campos defines his future.

The governor of Pernambuco consolidated his position as a political strategist in 2012, removing the PT (Workers' Party) from the Recife City Hall and keeping his PSB (Brazilian Socialist Party) in charge of Belo Horizonte in partnership with the PSDB (Brazilian Social Democracy Party). The growth of his party in the municipal elections reinforced the name of Miguel Arraes' grandson as a potential candidate for the 2014 presidential succession. Will he run or not?

PE247 - A candidate for President or Vice-President in 2014 or 2018. The fate of the governor of Pernambuco, Eduardo Campos, is being shaped by political news. It remains to be seen if (and when) he will be willing to live up to expectations. The evasive answers from the national president of the PSB party regarding his political future fuel speculation: a candidate as early as 2014? Vice-presidential candidate on Senator Aécio Neves' (PSDB) ticket? Or on a possible candidacy of former president Lula?

The opinion polls published by Datafolha at the end of the year showed that Brazilian voters still don't know the skilled socialist strategist, who has until 2013 to decide how he will position himself in the 2014 election year. In your opinion, how should (and will) the governor of Pernambuco behave until then? Does he benefit more from being in the government's administration or in opposition to the federal government?
