As planned, he will travel to Miami, Florida, United States, this Thursday (September 26). Among the governor's commitments is the 18th International Meeting, which will be held from September 26 to 29.
In a telephone interview with the newspaper A Redação, Marconi stated that he will only comment on the position of judge, which he is expected to fill in the constitutional quota reserved for the Brazilian Bar Association - Goiás Section (OAB-GO), after returning to Brazil.
Lawyers Itamar de Lima, Guilherme Gutemberg Isac Pinto and Luiz Inácio Medeiros Barbosa were chosen on Monday (September 23rd) by the Court of Justice of the State of Goiás (TJGO) to compose the shortlist of three candidates who will compete for the position of judge.
The list was forwarded to Governor Marconi Perillo, who will make the final choice. "I will analyze the names very carefully," he told AR.
The governor has not specified when the announcement will be made, but another trip abroad is scheduled for the near future. This time, to Portugal, on October 3rd. It is possible that the announcement will only be made upon his return from this second trip. In Marconi's absence, the vice-governor, José Eliton Jr., will assume the commitments in Goiás.

Marconi accepted the invitation from the Business Leaders Group (LIDE) and will participate in the 18th International Meeting, from September 26th to 29th, in Miami, United States.
With “Economic, Institutional and Tourism Relations between Brazil and the United States” as its central theme, the Meeting aims to stimulate bilateral relations between Brazil and the United States.
