The new racetrack will be delivered in March 2014.

Goiás 247_ The renovation, adaptation, and modernization works at the Goiânia International Racetrack began this month. The track alterations, which follow standards established by the International Automobile Federation (FIA), consist of the circuit's restoration, as well as renovations to the control tower and the covered grandstand. Agetop is responsible for carrying out the work.

The garages will be rebuilt and expanded, increasing the width of the pit lane from nine to 17 meters, as well as upgrading the electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems. In addition to the renovations and adaptations of the buildings, a 55 square meter park will be constructed, featuring entertainment areas and walking and cycling paths.

This park can be used by the public regardless of when the racetrack opens. The total cost of the renovation is R$ 27,3 million and completion is scheduled for March 2014.
