Goiás247_ Governor Marconi Perillo opened the 6th edition of the Government Together with You on Thursday (20), in the city of Trindade, accompanied by Mayor Jânio Darrot, some state secretaries, deputies, councilors and local leaders. In this stage, in addition to granting benefits, he reinforced the delivery date for the reconstruction of the Rodovia dos Romeiros for the 27th of this month.

"Who would have imagined that we were going to build a new Pilgrims' Highway? Initially, fearing that we wouldn't be able to have everything ready for the Feast of the Divine Eternal Father, I committed to only renovating the Pilgrims' Highway. Later, I mustered the courage and decided to rebuild everything. And we will deliver a project that will demonstrate the quality with which we rebuilt the entire highway, to provide a well-structured and very beautiful route for the faithful," he said.
Jânio Darrot thanked the governor for the works on the Rodovia dos Romeiros (Pilgrims' Highway), as well as the announced benefits, and recalled that other road reconstruction works have already been carried out since 2011, such as the reconstruction of the stretch that connects the municipality of Trindade to Campestre.
Marconi recalled that, in its 6th edition, the "Government Close to You" program has managed to make life easier for citizens, who now have a government that is closer to them. Before visiting the stands and meeting with local leaders, as he did in all previous editions, the governor delivered, among other benefits, 1.079 new cards for the Citizen Income program, 52 free passes for disabled people, and 748 senior citizen passports, in addition to wheelchairs built in the workshop of the Organization of Volunteers of Goiás (OVG).
