"Our reference point is the future," says Marconi.

The governor held a political meeting in Catalão on Thursday night and emphasized in his speeches that his political project prioritizes the development of Goiás, always thinking about the future; "They say they have a past. But we have a past that recommends more. With one difference: we offer Goiás the great future that this state deserves. Our reference point is the future. Theirs is the past," said the governor, in a clear reference to Iris Rezende's nostalgic speeches; the governor avoided responding to Caiado's criticisms and accusations: "Here on our side, there's no room for insults and other petty squabbles."

Goiás247 - “They say they have a past. But we have a past that recommends more. With one difference: we offer Goiás the great future that this State deserves. Our reference point is the future. Theirs is the past,” emphasized Governor Marconi Perillo during a political meeting held on Thursday night (17) in Catalão.

Running for re-election, Marconi, alongside Mayor Jardel Sebba (PSDB), addressed an audience of approximately 4 people. And, once again, he assured voters in the region that the political-administrative project represented by the "Guarantee of a Better Future for Goiás" coalition is capable of continuing to modernize the state.

"Goiás changes every day. We will modernize the state more and more. Many politicians live in the past, they only talk about the past. But the focus of our government is to build a better future," the governor emphasized, taking a dig at his rival Iris Rezende, who has a habit of extolling past achievements when he speaks.

In defending the governor's reelection, Mayor Jardel Sebba asserted: "There is no one more prepared to govern Goiás than Marconi, because he knows how to do what's best for the state and is very willing to do so."

“On one side we have Marconi doing a job in a climate of peace, focused on modernity and planning. On the other, we have a lot of resentment and the representation of backwardness and improvisation,” said Jardel.

Three Ranches

Before arriving in Catalão, the governor held a political meeting in Três Ranchos and emphasized that his campaign will be focused on proposals.

"Here on our side, there's no room for insults or other petty squabbles. We are here to build, together, new projects that bring ever more growth and development to the State," he pointed out.

To corroborate his statement, the governor himself recalled that Goiás has grown in several sectors in recent years. "Our education system is one of the best in Brazil, we are building and renovating hospitals, we have built thousands of kilometers of new roads and doubled several that already existed," he reiterated. Marconi guaranteed that, if re-elected, he will continue fighting daily to always do what is best for all the people of Goiás.
