The truckers' strike has five protest points, four of which are on federal highways; the blockades in Piauí are occurring in Teresina - BR-316, Tabuleta neighborhood; Picos - BR-316, KM 323; Bom Jesus - BR-135, KM 351 and Floriano - BR-230, KM 306; on BR-343, in Teresina, there is a protest, but no blockade.
Piauí Today - This Tuesday (29) the truckers' strike reaches its 9th day in the country. In Piauí, five points of demonstrations were registered this Tuesday, with four BRs blocked. In Teresina, the demonstrators cleared the entrance to the oil terminal, but continue to hold the event at the site.
The locations where the roadblocks are taking place in the state are: Teresina - BR-316, Tabuleta neighborhood; Peaks - BR-316, KM 323 Good Jesus BR-135, KM 351 and Floriano - BR-230, KM 306. On BR-343, in Teresina, in front of the oil terminal, there is a demonstration at this moment, but no blockade.
According to the president of the Union of Gas Station Owners, Alexandre Cavalcante, the expectation is that all gas stations in Piauí will be restocked within a week.
