Cantareira reservoir level falls again after period of stability.
According to Sabesp, the reservoir level is at 10,5% of its capacity this Friday, the 5th, 1 percentage point less than recorded in the last two days.

The Cantareira System level has fallen again after a day of stability, due to rainfall that reached 22,2 millimeters (mm) at the reservoir site last Tuesday. According to the São Paulo State Basic Sanitation Company (Sabesp), the reservoir level is currently at 10,5% of its capacity, 1 percentage point less than that recorded in the last two days.
The recorded level accounts for the technical reserve of 182,5 billion liters, which has been used by Sabesp since March. Rainfall accumulated in the first five days of September reached 30,1 mm, while the historical average for the month is 91,9 mm.
The company also shows that the level of the Alto Tietê River remained stable from yesterday to today at 15,1%, with 1,1mm of rain and the index for the month reaching 27,1mm, when the historical average for the period is 85,5mm.
