Woman gives birth in maternity ward bathroom in Aparecida
The mother was treated at the Marlene Teixeira Maternity Hospital in Aparecida de Goiânia, but the surgical center has been closed for two years. Goiás 247_ Early Tuesday morning, a 37-year-old woman gave birth in the bathroom of the Marlene Teixeira Maternity Hospital in Aparecida de Goiânia.
The woman was seen by a doctor, but had to wait for a transfer because the maternity ward's surgical center has been closed for two years.
While she was waiting, she went into labor and gave birth in the bathroom. The woman even managed to catch the baby, preventing it from falling to the floor.

On June 11th of this year, a 34-year-old woman gave birth in the reception area of the Nascer Cidadão Maternity Hospital in Goiânia while waiting for medical attention. The baby even fell to the floor. The birth was filmed by a man who was in the maternity hospital, and the video was released on the internet. The Goiânia City Hall has opened an investigation into the case.
