Changes in the Ceará delegation in the Federal Chamber
The Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies, Rodrigo Maia, swore in eight federal deputies on Monday (2) to replace parliamentarians who left their mandates to assume municipal positions. From Ceará, deputies Vaidon Oliveira (PSDC) was sworn in, replacing the vice-mayor of Fortaleza, Moroni Torgan, and Vicente Arruda, from PDT, in the place of the mayor of Juazeiro, Arnon Bezerra. With the swearing-in of Vicente Arruda, deputy Ariosto Holanda takes over as substitute.
Ceará 247 - The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rodrigo Maia, swore in eight federal deputies on Monday (2) to replace parliamentarians who left their mandates to take up municipal positions.
From Ceará, Representatives Vaidon Oliveira (PSDC) were confirmed in place of the Vice-Mayor of Fortaleza, Moroni Torgan, and Vicente Arruda, from PDT, in the seat of the Mayor of Juazeiro, Arnon Bezerra. With the confirmation of Vicente Arruda, Representative Ariosto Holanda assumes the position as alternate.
In total, 21 parliamentarians left the Chamber due to the municipal elections. 15 to assume the position of mayor, four to assume the position of vice-mayor, and two to assume the position of mayor of the capital city.
Among the substitutes, nine were already serving as alternates, having been replaced by other alternates.
