The State Public Prosecutor's Office (MPE) is investigating possible irregularities in the transfer of social security contributions to the National Institute of Social Security (INSS) made by the Municipality of Marechal Deodoro; the municipality's Retirement and Pension Fund is also under scrutiny.
Alagoas 247 - The State Public Ministry (MPE), through the Public Prosecutor's Office of Marechal Deodoro, is investigating possible irregularities in the transfer of social security contributions to the National Institute of Social Security (INSS) made by the city's Municipality. The order was published in the State Official Gazette (DOE) this Tuesday (12).
According to the publication, the agency received complaints of alleged irregularities in the transfer of social security funds, in addition to the municipality's Retirement and Pension Fund, which is under investigation by the prosecutor's office.
For this reason, the Public Prosecutor's Office decided to initiate preparatory proceedings for a public civil inquiry, communicating the act to the Superior Council of the Public Prosecutor's Office and to the Attorney General of Justice, Sérgio Jucá. The prosecutor's office also seeks to collect information, documents, certificates, expert reports, and other investigative measures.
The order is signed by Public Prosecutor Silvio Azevedo Sampaio.
