Goiás 247 - Pre-candidate for governor Daniel Vilela (MDB) states that his competitors represent more of the same and will not produce any change in the state.

"To this day, they haven't been able to present anything about what they think of Goiás, and they share the same origins and the same outdated political practices," he says.

Daniel points out that former governor José Eliton is a product of the alliance between former governor Marconi Perillo and senator Ronaldo Caiado, an agreement sealed by the two in the 2010 elections, when Caiado nominated Eliton as Marconi's running mate.

"The truth is that Senator Caiado, who has held office for 30 years, is the political godfather of the current governor. They're two peas in a pod," he attacks.

According to the MDB (Brazilian Democratic Movement) member, Goiás wants renewal and needs balanced, serene political representatives who are prepared and adopt a responsible political approach alongside capable individuals.

Daniel reveals that he has been working with dozens of experts from various fields, brought together through thematic groups, who have been meeting frequently since the beginning of the year to discuss the most appropriate government plan for the future of Goiás.

"I am running for office because I have the ability to execute a project that generates a future perspective and not a return to the past for our state. Our team is working on an innovative and transformative program, unlike our opponents, who are nothing more than more of the same," he concludes.
