"For a Brazil where my father and grandfather said that decency and honesty were not a possibility, but an obligation," Caio stated before voting in favor of impeachment. The congressman concluded his speech with the quote: "You will see that a son of yours does not flee from the fight."
Caio Nárcio accompanied his father to the Public Prosecutor's office in Belo Horizonte, where the politician was arrested.
According to information from the Military Police, 16 warrants were served in the Central-South and Northwest regions of the capital of Minas Gerais. Documents and computers were seized at 14 addresses.
