The mayor of Itabaianinha, Robson da Laranja, was unable to attend the meeting. Paulo César (Santa Luzia), according to Roberto Góes, decided to follow the direction of the political group.

The dissenting mayors claimed that there is a very large divergence in their municipalities with politicians affiliated with the PSC, which would be an obstacle to formalizing their support. According to the PSDB member, at the meeting the mayors ratified their support for the candidacy of Senator Aécio Neves from Minas Gerais for president, but made it clear that they will not campaign for Eduardo Amorim.
