'Marta drives the nail into the coffin of the PT and does a service to the country'

A newspaper run by Francisco Mesquita Neto says that, by participating in the parade, Marta Suplicy "is rendering a relevant service to the country by denouncing the abuses of the PT in power, with the credibility of a founder of the party who held important positions in public life"; "it is yet another nail hammered into the coffin of the reputation of the party that, more than 12 years ago, came to power with the ambitious intention of reinventing the country, but ended up succumbing to the temptation of transforming that power into an end in itself for its own benefit."
