Marília should withdraw her candidacy in the name of unity on the left.

Councilwoman and pre-candidate for governor of Pernambuco, Marília Arraes, is expected to run for federal deputy for the PT (Workers' Party) of Pernambuco; the announcement was reportedly made by her to PT leaders, following direction from the National Executive in favor of the PT-PSB alliance, which foresees the withdrawal of her candidacy.

Pernambuco 247 - Councilwoman Marília Arraes is expected to withdraw her candidacy for governor of Pernambuco representing the PT party and instead run for federal deputy, she reportedly told PT leaders, following a directive from the National Executive Committee in favor of the PT-PSB alliance, which calls for the withdrawal of her candidacy.

Marília reportedly also said that she doesn't want to cause tension at the convention that will launch Lula's candidacy for president of the Republic, according to a report by Catia Seabra in Folha. On Thursday night, the Pernambuco PT directory Marília's candidacy was confirmed., against the Executive's decision.
