In a social media post early Sunday evening, Governor Marconi Perillo expressed his condemnation of the act of intolerance attributed to Omar Mateen at a nightclub in the United States; "We always pray for a world of peace where people can live together in perfect harmony, without conflict and terrorism," wrote Marconi.
Goiás 247 - In a social media post early Sunday evening (June 12), Governor Marconi Perillo expressed his condemnation of the act of intolerance attributed to Omar Mateen, 29, which resulted in the death of 50 people at a nightclub in Orlando (Florida, United States) and left another 53 injured. Marconi said that, "once again intolerance results in great tragedy."
"We always pray for a world of peace where people can live together in perfect harmony, without conflict and terrorism," the governor stated in posts on Facebook and Twitter. "Once again, intolerance results in great tragedy. About 50 people died in a nightclub in Orlando, in the United States, after an attack by a gunman," he said.
