Goiás 247 - Governor Marconi Perillo and the Minister of Cities, Bruno Araújo, will deliver 480 housing units in Palmeiras de Goiás this Wednesday (8), at 14:30 pm, at Residencial Maria Pires Perillo.

The housing complex is the result of a partnership between the State Government, through the Goiana Housing Agency (Agehab), with the Cheque Mais Moradia program, and the federal government, with resources from the Residential Leasing Fund (FAR).

One of the largest housing developments in the state of Goiás, the Maria Pires Perillo Residential Complex will have 740 homes — the other 260 units are under construction. The president of Agehab, Luiz Stival, reports that the investment in the project is R$ 46 million, of which R$ 4,6 million is from the Cheque Mais Moradia program and the remainder from the FAR (Housing Development Fund).

According to Stival, the Marconi Perillo administration has revolutionized housing in Goiás, strengthening partnerships in all social housing projects, as is the case in Palmeiras.
