Goiás 247 - Governor Marconi Perillo and Mayor Maguito Vilela demonstrated their close alignment, further increasing the likelihood of an unprecedented alliance between the PSDB and PMDB parties in 2018. Both were present at the inauguration of the new headquarters of the Commercial and Industrial Association of Aparecida de Goiânia. This is the third meeting between Maguito and Marconi in less than 20 days.

Maguito stated that "politics is the art of conciliation" and that he and Marconi, despite belonging to different parties, have always gotten along very well. At the ceremony, the two signed three more agreements that will result in benefits for Aparecida, including the construction of a Convention Center.

Behind the scenes, talks about an alliance between PSDB and PMDB in Goiás are gaining momentum. The agreement would go through Brasília, with the endorsement of President Michel Temer and PSDB members like Aécio Neves and José Serra. Marconi is discreetly cultivating his national project and is currently a national force within the PSDB.
