Machado discusses fare reduction this Wednesday; it could decrease to R$ 2,30

“I don’t rule out the possibility of reducing the price, especially since the federal government has exempted transportation from PIS and COFINS taxes, something between 3% and 4%, and also because the administration proposed raising it from R$ 2,25 to R$ 2,40 and the City Council approved it at R$ 2,45,” says José Carlos Machado, acting mayor of Aracaju.
