Lula on Boulos' arrest: "Housing is not a police matter"
Former President Lula yesterday spoke out in defense of the freedom of the leader of the MTST (Homeless Workers' Movement), Guilherme Boulos, who was detained in a repossession action in the eastern zone of São Paulo; Lula stressed that "the struggle for everyone to have the right to decent housing is part of building a better and fairer Brazil" and reminded that housing "is not a police matter."
