Nominated by her party's caucus to the special committee that will analyze the pension reform (PEC 287), federal deputy Luizianne Lins (PT/CE) has already submitted two requests for public hearings. In her requests, the deputy proposes to discuss the impacts of the reform on young people and people with disabilities.

The congresswoman argued that it is necessary to guarantee broad debate and involve the entire society in the discussion. "This blow to social security affects everyone, but there are specificities of segments that need to be considered before the commission concludes its final text. Our role will be to bring and ignite these voices," commented the congresswoman.

The Social Security Reform committee was installed last Thursday (9), in the Chamber of Deputies.
