PP leaders strengthen alliance with Rui Costa.

During the PP event, one fact became clear: the party is united and firm in its alliance with Governor Rui Costa (PT); this fact can be observed by the presence of all federal deputies and 51 of the 56 mayors from the party; the State Meeting definitively buried speculations about a possible migration of the party to the base of the mayor of the capital, ACM Neto (DEM).

Bahia 247 – The State Meeting of the Progressive Party (PP), in Salvador, served to make it clear that the party is united and firm in its alliance with Governor Rui Costa (PT). The event also served to bury speculations about a possible migration to the base of the capital's mayor, ACM Neto (DEM).

This fact can be observed through the leadership of the vice-governor and secretary João Leão, and also by the presence of all the federal deputies from the party. Add to that the fact that 51 out of 56 mayors were present.

Also present were former governor Jaques Wagner (PT), senators Roberto Muniz (PP), Otto Alencar (PSD) and Lídice da Mata (PSB).

"The dedication and commitment of Vice-Governor João Leão, Senator Roberto Muniz, and the federal and state representatives of the PP party have made a great contribution to the success of our government," stated Governor Rui Costa.
