"Regarding Brazil, TV Globo not only denies paying bribes to football executives but also reports having conducted an internal investigation and heard from its former executive in the area, Marcelo Campos Pinto, that he never paid a penny outside of contracts, in addition to making himself available to the American Justice system, 'as a matter of honor.' Campos Pinto could not be reached today by 'Jornal Nacional,' nor could Ricardo Teixeira," comments journalist Juca Kfouri.
