Kassab: 'Irajá would be an excellent candidate'

Former minister and senator Kátia Abreu (PMDB) said she did not expect the treatment she has received (such as the cancellation of her provisional commissions), after the role she played in securing the party leadership in the state for Governor Marcelo Miranda, and her guarantee of the party's nomination to run for mayor. "Politics is always full of surprises," she stated.
Asked if she would follow the PMDB's decision to support the state's vice-governor, Cláudia Lélis (PV), the senator said she would make her decision in the coming days, regardless of who the party supports or not.
