Kalil reappoints security advisors
The mayor of Belo Horizonte, Alexandre Kalil (PHS), reversed the dismissals of the Military Police advisors to the mayor's office and, as a consequence, reinstated two cabinet officers and five security advisors; according to the Belo Horizonte City Hall press office, the mayor cannot be without security and the police officers remained working throughout the entire period.

Regarding the dismissals, Kalil had said that some of the people fired could return. The head of the Minas Gerais state government stated that the return would depend on "criteria" but did not specify what they were. The mayor affirmed that the cuts to appointed officials were made without criteria.
