Court restricts Prisco's campaign to Salvador.

Tucano requested permission from the courts to campaign for state representative in the interior of Bahia, but, with the denial, remains unable to leave the capital; "I still cannot leave the capital of Bahia, despite running for a position that covers the entire territory of Bahia; I still cannot meet with military police officers, a category with which I have always fought for improvements and for which I suffer political persecution; I still cannot discuss improvements with associations and entities defending the category," complained the councilman.

Bahia 247 - Salvador city councilman Marco Prisco (PSDB) had his request to relax the restrictive measures imposed on him by the 17th Federal Court in Brasília, since his release from prison, denied by the courts. The politician had requested permission to campaign for state representative in the interior of the state, but, with the denial, he remains unable to leave the capital, where he resides.

"I still cannot leave the capital of Bahia, despite running for a position that covers the entire state; I still cannot meet with military police officers, a group with whom I have always fought for improvements and for which I suffer political persecution; I still cannot discuss improvements with associations and entities that defend the category," the councilman complained in a press release.

Prisco's lawyer, Marcele Maron, will appeal the decision "based on constitutional rights." "This is a veiled loss of political rights. Which is unconstitutional, since loss is only possible in the cases stipulated in Article 15 of the Constitution."
