Young Izabel Hoffmann, 17 years old, died after feeling unwell at home and suffering a cardiac arrest in a private hospital in Biguaçu (SC), this Saturday (5). She held the title of queen of the city, whose election is held annually during BigFest, an event that celebrates the city's anniversary.
According to information from the hospital, the cause of Izabel's death was a pulmonary embolism. She was buried on Sunday afternoon (6).
According to Douglas Borba, Secretary of Culture and Tourism of Biguaçu, Izabel began feeling unwell at home, with abdominal pain. She received medical attention and was given pain medication intravenously. However, she suffered a cardiac arrest at the hospital and did not survive.
