Former Secretary of Government Jailce Andrade officially launched her pre-candidacy for mayor of Camaçari for the PC do B, in an event that filled the Seven space on Friday (17); Jailce leads the 'Front for the Renewal of Politics' project, composed of PC do B, PSB, PR, PRB, PMN, REDE, PEN, PROS, PTC and PRP; she said she was "happy to receive the various expressions of affection and confidence in support of the project that seeks to break the taboo of electing the first female mayor of the municipality"; "We are going to renew the way politics is done in Camaçari. Bahia 247 - Former Secretary of Government Jailce Andrade officially announced her pre-candidacy for mayor of Camaçari on Friday (17) for the PC do B, in an event that filled the Seven space. Jailce leads the 'Front for the Renewal of Politics' project, composed of PC do B, PSB, PR, PRB, PMN, REDE, PEN, PROS, PTC and PRP.
"Efficient management, respect for public funds, economic and social development" were some of the topics that predominated in the speeches.
The State Secretary for Women's Policies, Olívia Santana, highlighted Jailce's technical and political capabilities. "This crowd is united to prove that a woman is capable of managing this city."
According to the president of the PCdoB in Bahia and federal deputy Daniel Almeida, "the national and state leadership of the party has already decided that Jailce's candidacy for mayor of Camaçari is a priority."
Alice Portugal (PC do B), a federal deputy and pre-candidate for mayor of Salvador, also participated in the event and reinforced Almeida's position.
The "emotion" and "joy of the public" touched Jailce Andrade, who said she was "happy to receive the various expressions of affection and confidence in support of the project that seeks to break the taboo of electing the first female mayor of the municipality."
"We are going to renew the way politics is done in Camaçari. Hope has moved thousands of people daily. We will overcome backwardness, cronyism, and the rancor of old politics. We will have a different kind of administration, with effective participation from the people, agile, and for everyone, without distinction," stated Jailce.
