Isidório goes to the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office against Globo's 'perversions'

Bahia 247 - A staunch defender of the traditional family model (man, woman, and children), Congressman Pastor Sargento Isidório (PSC), who declares himself "ex-homosexual, ex-criminal, ex-drug addict, and ex-AIDS patient," filed his second lawsuit with the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office (MPF) against Rede Globo.
He states that he is "against the perversions and attempts to destroy the concept of family that Rede Globo has been carrying out against our nation" and criticizes the soap opera Babilônia, highlighting the lesbian kiss between Nathalia Timberg and Fernanda Montenegro.
The congressman commented that the scene between the actresses, as well as the moments of violence, undermine the education parents give their children.
"Why doesn't it show a relationship where the husband loves his wife, washes dishes, helps with the cleaning, and doesn't cheat on her? Why doesn't it show that? Does Rede Globo want to turn this country into a tacky place, a place of prostitution, a place of vagrancy? That's what it's doing!", said Isidório in an interview with the Bahia Notícias website.
He points out that the criticisms are shared by people of different religions and said that Globo should prioritize showing programs with educational content. The congressman also says that there are other types of "degradation" of moral values in soap operas.
