Property Tax (IPTU): Discount extended to all taxpayers who re-registered.
The City Hall of Salvador extended to all taxpayers who re-registered through the Finance Department's website the right to a 10% discount on the IPTU (Property Tax), regardless of document verification; "We trust in people's good faith and, with this, we resolve any problems that may have occurred in the verification or submission of the documents requested during re-registration," says Mayor ACM Neto (DEM).
Bahia 247 - By order of Mayor ACM Neto (DEM), the Municipal Finance Department (Sefaz) extended to all taxpayers who re-registered through the department's website the right to a 10% discount on the Urban Property Tax (IPTU), regardless of the verification of the documents submitted to the City Hall.
"We trust in people's good faith and, with that in mind, we resolve any problems that may have occurred in the verification or submission of the documents requested during the re-registration process," said ACM Neto.
According to Secretary Mauro Ricardo (Finance), by the end of next week a new payment slip will be sent to taxpayers who re-registered but were not eligible for the discount. In addition, the property owner can view and download the payment slip on the Sefaz website (www.sefaz.salvador.ba.gov.br).
