The iPhone X arrives in Brazil with a price range between R$ 6.299,10 and R$ 7.019,10. The full price, without Apple's 10% discount for cash purchases, reaches R$ 7.799, which is a record among the prices of Apple smartphones.
The iPhone 8 Plus previously held the record, priced at R$ 5.399 for the 256 GB version. Among Android devices, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is the most expensive, costing up to R$ 4.799, while the Sony Xperia XZ Premium arrived for R$ 3.999.
The iPhone X in the US costs $999 (64 GB) and $1.149 (256 GB). Pre-order stock sold out in less than 10 minutes at launch, and, using a direct conversion, the device would cost around R$ 3.000.
