Goiás 247 - Governor Marconi Perillo began an intense schedule of inaugurations this Friday morning, the 24th, in Vianópolis. In the city, Marconi delivered R$ 20 million in benefits, of which R$ 17 million were for the sewage network and treatment plant. During his speech, he spoke about the importance of works that improve the quality of life for citizens and that a governor should not take actions thinking only about votes.
"I am very grateful to Vianópolis for the support. And I come here primarily because you elected a leader, a political revelation in Issy Quinan. He fights tooth and nail for benefits for the city. He goes after it and gets it done," Marconi praised, speaking about the work of the local mayor. He also said that, in the next two years, his term will be one of public works, services, and benefits for the people of Goiás.
Eighty-two families in Vianópolis received the "Cheques Mais Moradia" (More Housing Checks) program, specifically for home renovations. This benefit will help families living in precarious conditions. Created during Marconi Perillo's first administration, it gained prominence this week after the federal government announced it would apply the Goiás experience model to a nationwide housing program.
Present at the ceremony, Vice-Governor José Eliton also congratulated Mayor Issy Quinan on his work: "One of the best mayors we have in Goiás." Eliton highlighted Marconi's courage in facing and solving Goiás's problems and repeated what Marconi has constantly said: "We will be the first state to emerge from the economic and financial crisis."
Present on the platform, Senator Luiz Petecão (AC), who accompanied Senator Wilder Morais to the event, recounted in his speech the meeting he had with the acting President of the Republic, Michel Temer: "I was very proud of Marconi when I heard Temer cite Goiás as an example."
Benefits
In addition to delivering the checks, Marconi also inaugurated the lighting and redevelopment of GO-010; the Fernanda de Souza Araújo and João Venâncio squares; the Child Protection Council; the construction of asphalt in the Michelle neighborhood and the Manoel Gouveia sector; and the reconstruction of the São Francisco de Assis cemetery.
