Inmet forecasts heavy rain and strong winds for 11 states.

247 - O Inmet (National Institute of Meteorology) issued a potential danger alert on Tuesday (28) for heavy rains with valid until Wednesday (29), for eleven states in the country.

"Rainfall of up to 50 mm/day is possible and strong winds of up to 60 km/h“Inmet stated in a press release:

Affected states:

– Rio Grande do Sul;

– Paraná;

– Santa Catarina;

- Sao Paulo;

– Mato Grosso do Sul;

– Mato Grosso;

– Rondônia;

– Acre;

– Amazonas;

Areas of Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais, and Goiás.
