Inflation in Fortaleza falls to 0,32% in June.
According to data released this Friday (8) by IBGE, inflation measured by the National Consumer Price Index (IPCA) was 0,32% in the month of June in Fortaleza. This is less than half the number recorded in May, which was 0,99%. However, in the accumulated semester, the capital of Ceará still presents the highest inflation in the country (5,41%).

After showing a variation of 0,99% in May, the highest in the country, in the last 30 days the number fell to 0,32%, according to data released this Friday (8) by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE).
The figure indicates lower inflation than the national average of 0,35%, but in accumulated figures, Fortaleza still remains in first place in Brazil. In the first half of the year, inflation was 5,41%, while over the last 12 months the variation is 10,37%. Nationally, the index is 4,42% (first half of the year) and 8,84% (over the last twelve months).
