Ibope poll in Rio Grande do Sul: Ana Amélia has 37% and Tarso, 31%.

On the 21 - The newspaper Zero Hora published this Saturday (19) a new Ibope poll for the Palácio Piratini. The survey presents a scenario similar to the previous survey carried out in April of this year, with one new development. After the first debate held between the candidates for the state government (on Rádio Gaúcha and TV Com), Senator Ana Amélia Lemos (from PP) dropped one point, going from 38% to 37%. Governor Tarso Genro remained stable with 31%. In third place is the PMDB candidate, José Ivo Sartori, with 4% (he had 5% in the previous one), and in fourth place, Vieira da Cunha (PDT), with 2% (he had 3% in the previous one).

In the spontaneous survey, Tarso has 15%, Ana Amélia 14%, and José Ivo Sartori 1%. The current governor is also ahead in terms of "expectation of victory": 37% of respondents believe he will be re-elected, while 31% indicate the senator.

The Ibope poll also surveyed the opinions of voters in Rio Grande do Sul regarding the Senate race (one seat), indicating a technical tie between Lasier Martins and Olívio Dutra. The former RBS presenter, who comfortably led with 38% in the April poll, has fallen to 31% of voting intentions. He is technically tied with the former governor, who appears with 28% (Olívio was not included in the previous poll). In third place is Beto Albuquerque (PSB), with 10%.

Political debate in the state is expected to heat up in the coming weeks with new debates taking place. This Monday, at 13 PM, Radio Guaíba will host a debate between the Senate candidates.
